    As-salaamu alaikum,

I find your blog very interesting. My husband and I are thinking of traveling to Jerusalem for Eid. I’m really interested to learn more about your experience there as many people have only been saying negative things…I’m also interested in learning about tatreez. Please write me back when you have the chance!

    Nehad,

Our paths rarely crossed at Temple U, and for that I am sorry. I spent an unconventional senior year abroad, living and studying in Haifa. While in Israel, I made several excursions in the West Bank. Looking back, they were some of the most painful/incredible moments in my coming of age. I am currently living in New York, doing Rabbinical/Grad School, writing, performing, reaching etc. I would to love to dialogue and reflect with you at some point in the near future. Feel free to write me anytime: repairingtheword@gmail.com

    Many blessings and safe travels.

    Joshua
